Lamella is a very interesting chair by Gunnar Aagaard Andersen. It needs no upholstery, but is very soft and comfortable due to the construction using flexible bamboo strips to act as springs. Each of the springs is slotted and mounted on a dowel peg, allowing it to flex with the body for support and comfort.
